Can a civilian do a warrant search?

I want to see if there's a warrant out for a certain person.

You can online but to gain access to a full background search you will need permission from the person to look at this information. You can also call the police department if you suspect someone of having a warrant out for their arrest and they can usually confirm or deny this.

Warrant searches are available through many criminal background checks. These checks may have to be done on a state level for warrants. However, criminal background checks, including warrants and crime convictions, are available to anyone who pays for such a search. The only requirement is your financial information to the website.

It should be public record. Go to your towns main website and just search around for it. Check the PD's website for your town too.
