I wouldn't give your dog Imodium unless you consult your vet and they say it is okay. If your dog is suffering from an upset stomach, make sure he s getting plenty of water. Also, pumpkin is known to help with digestion and stomach issues. I use canned pumpkin and feed my dog a spoon full a day.

Although it isn't approved by the Food and Drug Administration for animal use, Imodium is often used by veterinarians for diarrhea in dogs. It is important to dose the medication carefully, so do not administer more than 0. 05-0. 1 mg/lb every eight hours. You should take the dog to a veterinarian if it doesn't improve in two days.

You should never give your dog medicine without consulting a vet. If your dog is having trouble with loose stool, please take the dog to the vet immediately. Do NOT give your dog medicine that is meant for humans.

Yes, Immodium can be given to canines. However, it is very important that you contact a veterinarian first to ensure you are dosing the dog properly.

Yes, in most cases it is safe to give your dog a dosage of Imodium on OCCASION. Before giving your dog his or her first dose, contact your veterinarian to find the proper dosing for it's size. Your vet may also want to rule out other health problems.

Immodium can be given to dogs but it is not a great choice it can contstipate the dog. Pepto Bismol is better for the dog with 24 hours of fasting.
