Lubriderm is definitely the better option. It is a lotion that is not too sticky yet stays on the tattoo without rubbing off on your clothes. Lubriderm is also cheaper than Curel.

If this is a new tattoo, you should actually use triple antibiotic ointment or specialized tattoo balm. After the tattoo is healed, either lotion is fine.

None is better, when moisturizing, all you need to be carefull about is to take an unparfumed moisturizer, and make sure there's no alcool in the lotion. If you want your tattoo to heal faster, take the moisturizer that has "D" vitamins and to scratch. My personal choice between the to brands for the price is Lubriderm.

Throughout my 50+ tattoo sessions, I have only used unscented Vasoline. It works best and after 10 years all of my tattoos still look GREAT! Out of these two, I would choose lubriderm. It is more "gentle" then curel but only use it no more then 4 times a day.

I've used both for my tattoos, and Lubriderm is by far the better choice. It's not greasy, and it keeps your tattoos moisturized all day long, without irritating them.

I would suggest lubriderm as long as it is one that has no scent to it. it is a little thinner and easier to absorb the curel.

I personally use Lubriderm for my tattoos. It is a great lotion without being too greasy and it's thick enough to stay on the tat and not rub off on your clothes.

I suppose if I had to choose between those two I would choose Curel but I have many tats and did not use either one. I would choose a non fragrance lotion if to use lotion.

Most tattoo artists in the Northeast recommend using Lubriderm or its generic equivelant. My family has a lot of Tattoos and this works best for them.

I my experience Lubriderm is the better choice. It is cheaper and it protects your skin for a greater amount of time. This lotion is also less greasier than Curel.
