Are you allowed to sell software on eBay?

I have seen auctions that just send the software in an email afterward.

You can sell software on eBay but there are strict rules regulating it. It goes without saying that copied software(pirated) can get you in a mess of trouble. What you probably saw was a piece of software which was sent to an email address. This is called digital delievery. If you want to sell software, be aware of eBay's rules.

Yes you can sell software on e Bay. You can sell just about anything over eBay, though they do have there limitations on what you can and can not sell, but pretty much it is whatever you want. You can sell Windows, Linux, Sim city, Education software, etc on eBay.

Yes, many people sell software's on eBay. It can be your own or something you bought for yourself and don't need anymore. For something used you will have to lower your price. It's simple. All you have to do is choose the right category called 'specialty services' and then scroll down on the list to click on computer software.

The answer is YES! But there is a "BUT", there is some kind of software that you can't sell: Pirate software (hard to spot until installed), Beta or Alpha software (pre-released), Academic Software (for educational purpose only), OEM Software (Original Equipment Manufacturer - released with a new computer only). We can always help you with more details if needed.
