Are we going into a depression?

Answer by  tamarawilhite (17883)

The economic figures for growth keep being revised retroactively down. We are for certain in a recession. Whether we are in a depression is not yet known. We would have to have a deeper drop in GDP to qualify as a depression.

No, fortunately we are coming out slowly from the mess we were in. Everything crashed in the depression, government was giving out food, we were loosing jobs, banks were closing.

If we don't start to get this country back on track we very well could be heading back into a Great Depression type environment.
