Yes, there are some stores that sell just handbags. But if you want to buy a real designer handbag, it is better to go into the original designer store and buy the handbag. You can't be sure that something you purchase from an online site is going to be real. There are so many top quality replicas that exist.

Look inside the bag and see if there is a tag sewn into the bag with the designers name if not then its a designer knockoff.

Yes, though they are not that common. Never buy a handbag on the street, it is almost a given that those are knock-offs of real designer handbags.
