As with all breeds, yes, the mini pinscher has certain health conditions to which it is prone to contracting. Because of its size, it can easily be hurt in fights or just playing with bigger dogs. They are very sensitive for cold weather. Somtimes you see knee problems, called patellar luxation. When the dog is too small, it can get problems with it's eyes and joints. It is very wise to buy the dog by a responsible breeder.

Min Pin's have health problems that are associated with all small dogs. They are prone to borken bones due to their small size. This can occur when jumping off a bed or couch. They may suffer from luxating knee caps, this condition can be treated with supplements and may need surgery.
