No. Pet store animals (especially rodents) are usuall sick from abuse and missexed as well as poorly socialised. If you want a pet - adopt. There are thousands of homeless pets (even hamsters and other rodents) and shelters take far better care of animals as a rule.

Animals at pet stores are exposed to enviormental hazards. Anytime you choose to by from pet stores rather than a breeder, you are taking the chance of buying an unhealthy pet.

Don't shop at pet stores - it supports cruel breeding programs where the animals are kept in horrible conditions. Try adopting next time - even small rodents like hamsters end up at shelters.

Don't purchase animals from pet stores. It is much better to adopt. That way you aren't supporting dangrous breeding programs (the poor conditions they are kept in mean they often have respiratory infections or congenital conditions from inbreeding). There are lots of pets available in rescues and shelters that you can save from euthanasia.

Pets from Pet Stores generally are not very healthy. Since the pets are kept in close quarters they tend to spread illnesses quite quickly. Not to mention the animals usually come from shady breeders.
