Are the large black beetle bugs in my yard dangerous?

Generally, beetles are not dangerous to humans. Most merely eat poop and other dead organic material. Some, such as the asian longhorn beetle, are dangerous to trees. But not humans.

Beetles are some of the least dangerous insects on the planet. Just be careful to keep them out of you mouth, eyes, etc.

The insects are not dangerous as long as you are not having any plants.The beetles are attracted by the light in night times may come, otherwise your yard with minute insects which are pry for the beetles may attract their visit.Use insecticides to get rid of the beetles.

no they are water beatles most of the time they are just looking for a moist place to live is all but they are dirty insects so it might be best to have your house sprayed

Probably not. Beetles in general are not dangerous to humans. I wouldn't suggest eating them, but that's more a personal preference that a safety issue. Some contain toxins that will make you mildly ill, you can consult a bug guide for details.
