Are oranges safe to give to goldfish?

I need to give something to my goldfish.

Generally speaking, if you question the safety of giving something to your fish, it's a safe bet that you probably shouldn't give it to the fish. If you have canned peas, open a can, and squish a pea open, and try offering it that. If that doesn't work, give it a bit of crumbled bread as an absolute last resort.

I have never heard of them eating oranges and I dont think they would eat them on account of the acidic level. You can try a small piece.

No Oranges are not safe to give to gold fish. If you need to give something to your goldfish you should give them a break from your laziness, go to the store, and buy them some fish food.

Yes, they are safe to give to gold fish. It gives them energy and it is recommended that you only give them oranges once in a while. Too much will cause the gold fish to get fat and it also needs other nutrients.
