Small children aren't recommended, the Husky breed is a working dog from the genes out. If they don't get enough exercise they can become destructive to property and people.

Huskies are 'pack' oriented, tolerant dogs; they get along with people and other pets. Like all dogs, a husky needs to know its' place in the family; puppies, especially, learn quickly that they are not the alpha or top-dog and settle in as just one of the family.

Unfortunately, Husky dogs are not necessarily good with children and other pets. They may see some small animals as prey and not as another loving member of the household. With children, if they are older, this breed will do well. If you have children under the age of 5, you may want a more family friendly breed.

In my experiences, Huskies are great pets when you have children and other dogs. The only key is to keep your Husky working. They get bored easily and as a result, can get themselves into trouble by digging holes, escaping, etc.

yes!. It is better to aviod children in any case, whatever breed are they!. many parents do leave the children along with the pets and go to work, sometimes it causes the dog-bite and panic in their absence.
