The owner of a dog is responsible for any problems, damage or injury the dog causes. If you were responsible for the care of the dog and something happened to the dog because of your carelessness or neglect, you would be responsible. But when a dog is in the care of its owner, the owner is responsible, not a neighbor.

Not unless you killed it or something. Any damage the neighbors dog does in their liability and they should take care of it.

The dog's owner is liable for any harm or injuries the dog causes. You are obligated to report the animal if it is out and attacking or threatening people, but you cannot be sued if it bites someone.

No, you are not, unless you shot it or caused other violence to it. It is their dog and hence their responsiblity.

You're liable for your neighbor's dog if he was under your care while the dog harmed or killed another dog or person. the victim may choose to sue you or your neighbor for damages.
